J0000010 - ICT Manager – Innovations And Systems (x1)

JOB PURPOSE

To provide leadership in Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and establish Innovations which will drive the organization’s growth and development. The incumbent will focus on strategic alignment, value delivery, risk management, and resources management. He or she will lead the research and transition activities, and apply research, experimental development, and early design activities to validate/invalidate ideas. The incumbent will ensure end solution balances technical requirements and business outcomes. Prepare strategic plans determining how to meet the future needs of the organization in a sustainable, agile, and adaptable manner. 

The office holder shall report to the Director ICT

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Lead on development and delivery of an integrated ICT & Innovation Strategy and related policies and standards that are aligned with the Board's vision and mission
  • Prepare, review and monitor the ICT & Innovation budget and operating plan to ensure effective implementation of the ICT Strategy.
  • Provide leadership and advise management on ICT Innovation Developments and Policy Issues and their impact on the company’s operations and strategy.
  • Proficiency maximizing the utilization of information and associated technologies within the organization by evaluating costs and benefit; working with management in the formulation of strategy; provide leadership to meet and/or improve key performance indicators; streamlining, simplifying and eliminating non-value added processes or processes steps; displaying leadership on increasing productivity, quality, and service level while reducing costs; applying business sense while enforcing Innovation.
  • Ensures Designs and develops systems; improve existing features and develops solutions that ensure smooth upgrade of software by end-users
  • Continuously research on ICT innovations and provide Business Improvement opportunities for the various sectors.


JOB REQUIREMENTS AND EXPERIENCE

Candidates must have the following:

  • Grade Twelve (12) Certificate with five (5) credits or better which should include English and Mathematics.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/IT or equivalent.
  • Masters’ Degree in Computer Science/IT or equivalent
  • Technical certifications in IT disciplines or technology
  • At least five (5) years’ work experience in Information Technology with a combination of Management level experience.
  • Must be a member of ICTAZ


OTHER SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Solid understanding of object-oriented programming – Java, C# etc.
  • Solid understanding in any web-based programming technology – PHP, JavaScript, etc.
  • Familiarity or experience working with various software development frameworks
  • Solid understanding of and experience with RDBMS (Oracle, MySQL, MSSQL) database systems. Should have an ability to translate complex data requirements into efficient SQL code for reporting and data extractions for analysis purposes.

JOB PURPOSE

To plan, design and develop applications for WCFCB based on the business needs. 

The office holder shall report to the Assistant ICT Manager – Business Systems.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Designs and develops systems; improve existing features and develops solutions that ensure smooth upgrade of software by end-users
  • Contributes to the development of clear and concise requirements on the system development.
  • Work with back-end developers to integrate UI components with APIs and databases
  • Work with back-end developers to integrate UI components with APIs and databases
  • Knowledge of some SEO principles
  • Submits reports as necessary to management in order to maintain up to date documentation
  • Optimize our web applications for maximum speed
  • Develops clear technical and user documentation of all aspects of the systems in development and maintenance.
  • Provide high-quality graphics and visual elements
  • Work in multidisciplinary team with other professionals such as back-end developers and web designers


JOB REQUIREMENTS AND EXPERIENCE


Candidates must have the following:

  • Grade Twelve (12) Certificate with five (5) credits or better which should include English and Mathematics.
  • Degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
  • At least three (3) years’ experience in developing modern, responsive, and cross-browser-compatible websites using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
  • Must be a member of ICTAZ


OTHER SKILLS REQUIRED

  • Familiarity with Unix and Windows Operating system
  • Familiarity with any of the version control systems, e.g., git, etc.
  • Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks such as React, Angular, and Vue
  • Experience with JavaScript libraries such as jQuery and Bootstrap
  • Familiarity with CSS pre-processors such as Sass, Less, or Stylus
  • Knowledge of graphics software such as Adobe Suite, Photoshop etc.
  • Experience with cross-browser compatibility testing

JOB PURPOSE

Reporting to the Assistant Manager- ICT Security, the job holder will be responsible for supporting the Board’s business through the provision of timely, cost effective, efficient and professional Information Technology Security and Quality Assurance services for the purposes of achieving corporate goals.

The Officer holder will be reporting to Assistant Manager ICT Security.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Conduct and manage regular cybersecurity vulnerability assessments of the Board's ICT infrastructure
  • Oversee the implementation of cybersecurity on all of the Board's internal and external information systems
  • Monitoring network traffic
  • Configuring and supporting network and security tools such as Switches, Routers, Firewalls, Anti-virus, and Patch management systems
  • Implementing network security policies, application security, access control and corporate data safeguards
  • Liaise and conduct ICT risk assessments and compliance
  • Establish, implement, and maintain an IT business continuity management methodology for all critical applications for the Board
  • Ensure complete adherence to information security principles and standards both for external and internal users
  • Conduct regular employee cybersecurity awareness programs for internal users .

A. JOB PURPOSE

At least three (3) years’ work experience in Information Technology with a minimum of (1) year focus on Cybersecurity.

To provide financial accounting and related services, and perform clerical financial duties related to the collection of accounting statistics in order to enable superior compile accounting records efficiently.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Issues receipts for assessments received from employers to ensure accountability. 
  • Reconciles all the daily deposits with receipts and month end reconciliations of the Accounts maintained by the Board.
  • Ensures that records pertaining to revenue collection, Bank Statements, Reconciliations and payment vouchers are properly kept.
  • Process all Payments, maintain Petty Cash for pension and operation payments.
  • Performs any other duty as assigned by supervisor from time to time.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Grade Twelve (12) Certificate with five (5) credits or better
  • Computer literacy
  • Good personal organization
    • Numerical and interpersonal skills
      • At least two (2) years’ relevant experience.
        • Must be a member of the Zambia Institute of Chartered Accountants (ZICA
